On August 4, 2016 Elias F. Vasquez Sr. was received in God’s miraculous healing in Heaven. He was born July 20, 1935 in Del Rio, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Olivia G. Vasquez; sons: Elias Vasquez Jr. and David Vasquez; daughters: Sonia Sontag and Rebecca Morris; sisters: Beatrice Gonzales and Mary Ester San Miguel; brother: Gerardo Vasquez; grandchildren: Laura Salas, Lorenda Rangel, Lilly Figueroa, Lizzy Johnson, Joshua Vasquez, Nicole Galindo, Rachel Vasquez, Cody Baughman, Samantha Martinez and Devin Morris; many great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Jesus and Ernestina Vasquez; brothers: Ernesto Vasquez and Jesus Vasquez Jr.; sisters: Evangelina Fuentes and Hercilia Cadena. Pallbearers are: Cody Baughman, Dr. Antonio Cadena, Elias Vasquez Jr., David Vasquez, John Sontag and Victor Morris. Honorary Pallbearers are: Joshua Vasquez, Humberto Figueroa and Richard Velasquez. Visitation will be on Monday, 5-9:00P.M, August 8, 2016 at G. W. Cox Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, 11:00A.M, August 9, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church followed with interment at Westlawn Cemetery. Funeral arrangements with G. W.
