October 2, 1937 - January 26, 2016

Jay W. Stout, 78, passed away January 26, 2016 in Del Rio, Texas. He was born October 2, 1937 in Hilton, Texas. He is survived by his wife Lillie Susan O’Bryant Stout; daughters: Jaye Lynn Watson and husband Ronald and Sue Ellen Stout; sisters: Gail Stout Howard and her husband Dahl, Pam Stout McIntosh and husband Bobby; sister-in-law: Jacque and husband Sid Chaney; brothers: Zeno Stout and wife Betty, and O’Neil Stout and wife Rita; brother-in-law: Ernest O’Bryant and wife Irene, and Delton O’Bryant; grandchildren: Alyssa Watson Bryant and husband Daniel, and Suzanne Watson Timar and husband Adam; great-grandchildren: Jonah, Lilly and Hattie Bryant; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Dick and Vivian Stout; Jay graduated from Sabinal High School in 1956, member of the Central Church of Christ, and served honorably in the U.S. Army with the 4th Armored Division 54 INF, 1st Arm’d, Rifle BN, Co C, and retired from Central Power and Light Company. A Memorial service will be held at the Central Church of Christ on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 1:30P.M. In Lieu of usual remembrances the family asks donations be made to the Leukemia Society of America @ 950 Isom Rd., St. 104, San Antonio, Texas 78216, or the Youth Group @ Central Church of Christ or charity of choice.
