Julian B. Zambrano Jr.

February 16, 1925 - April 13, 2014

Julian B. Zambrano, Jr., 89, passed away April 13, 2014 in Austin, Texas at the home of his niece. He was born February 16, 1925 in Mexico. He is survived by his son: Julian Zambrano III and his wife Linda; grandson: Julian Zambrano IV and his wife Martha; great-grandchildren: Julian Zambrano V, Lilly, Jasmine and Olivia; grandson: Marco Antonio Zambrano and his wife Crystal; great-grandson: Joey Brenden; granddaughters: Xiomyra Zambrano; Gabriela Sunshine Smith and her husband Major Bernard Smith; great-grandchildren: Isabell and Sophia; sister: Esperanza A. Bateman and her husband Gilbert; their children: Teresita Eccleston and her husband Chuck, Bill Bateman, Maria Thorne and husband John, Greg Bateman, Dave Bateman and Evette Richardson and her husband Julio; also nephew: Agustin Bill and wife Charlene; and many other nieces and nephews. Julian was preceded in death by his wife Dolores G. Zambrano; mother and father: Maria B. Zambrano and Julian L. Zambrano Sr.; daughter: Diana Zambrano; and sisters: Margret Sietz, Angelina Garza and Consuelo Guevarra. Julian served honorably in the U S Army and was a devoted fan of the Spurs and Dallas Cowboys. Visitations will be on Tuesday, 5-9:00P.M, April 15, 2014 at G. W. Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary vigil at 7:00P.M. Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, 4:00P.M, April 16, 2014 at St Joseph’s Catholic Church followed with interment at Westlawn Cemetery. Funeral arrangements with G. W.
