March 7, 1953 - March 27, 2017

Mario Soto, 64, passed away March 27, 2017 in San Angelo, Texas. He was born March 7, 1953 in Del Rio, Texas. He is survived by his parents: Alonzo and Alicia Soto; brothers: Alonso Soto Jr. (Irma Garza) of San Angelo, Texas and Eloy Soto (Ernestina) of Del Rio, Texas; sisters: Englantina “Tina” Valdez (Luis) of Del Rio, Texas, Eva Ozuna (Oscar Sr.) of Del Rio, Texas, Diana Lynn Yandell (Clay ) of Benbrook; God children: Oscar Ozuna Jr., Marcy Ann Mojica, Anthony Valdez, Chase Houston Yandell and Mario Jesus Soto; also, 15 nieces and nephews. Mario attended Southwest Texas State University (Texas State University) and worked as a realtor in San Angelo and later ran the Soto family construction business. Pallbearers are Chase Yandell, Anthony Valdez, Eloy Soto Jr., Oscar Ozuna Jr., Luis Valdez Jr. and Alonzo Soto III. Honorary Pallbearers are Mario Jesus Soto, Ozzie Ozuna, Devan Yandell and Alex Valdez. Visitations will be on Thursday, 6-9:00P.M, March 30, 2017 at G. W. Cox Memorial Funeral Home, with a rosary vigil at 7:00P.M. Funeral service will be on Friday 10:00A.M, March 31, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Cremation will follow.
