“RQ” Black, 83, passed away September 30, 2014 in Del Rio, Texas. He was born November 23, 1930 in Cottonwood, Texas. He is survived by his wife: Mason De Cardova Black; daughters; Monique Tucker and her husband Lawrence of Bandera, Texas and Michelle Carey and her husband Glenn of Corpus Christi, Texas; grandchildren: Ross Taylor and wife Katy of Bandera, Texas; great grandchildren: Morgan and Gavin Taylor. “RQ” retired as a Master Sergeant from the USAF with 20 years of dedicated service including duty in Vietnam. He also worked 20 years with OXY Oil Company in Countries of Saudi Arabia, Omen and Peru. Graveside services will be held on Monday, 1:30P.M, October 6, 2014 at Cross Plains, Texas at the Atwell Cemetery, Callahan County, Texas. Clergy will be Bill & Eva Dooley from Waco, Texas. Directions to Cemetery: Take Highway 206 North 7 miles out of Cross Plains, left at 569 for 3.7 miles, left At 3265 for 1.9 miles, right on County Rd 407 for .4 miles, right on 299 for .1 mile, dead ends at Cemetery. You are at Atwell Cemetery, Callahan County, Texas. Military Honors will be presented at the graveside service. In Lieu of usual remembrances the family asks donations be made to Hospice of Val Verde County, Del Rio, Texas. Funeral arrangements with G. W.
